Relax at Mapia Resort
Location: Kalasey Beach, south of Manado, 20 minutes by car from downtown, 45 minutes from the airport.
The Resort is located in an amazing tropical garden with loads of coconut trees and rare plants native to the South-East Asian forests.
The resort is composed of 11 wooden cottages, built in the traditional Minahasa style (from the north of Sulawesi), All cottages are designed according to European standards, bathrooms with running freshwater, hot shower, ceiling fan and air conditioning.
Two different levels of cottages, Standard and Superior, the lasts really wide, with two big windows towards our gourgeus equatorial garden, our swimming pool, the sea and Bunaken Marine Park. (Two of them are family cottages with an extra room with two single bed for kids and/or friends).
The interiors are simple and functional with comfortable beds. The windows and a ceiling fan ensure a natural cool breeze if you do not want to use air conditioning.
As well as having its own terrace, every cottage is wide enough to take care of your underwater video/photography equipment.
The restaurant offers a wide choice of Indonesian traditional recipes, Italian and international menus.
A nice seaview terrace to have a cup of tea or an aperitivo before dinner.
The souvenir shop is well equipped with traditional Indonesian handcrafts.
The beach. Our clean sea calls you for a swim every time. The house reef, close to your cottage, offers a huge number of fascinating subjects for macro photography. And you enjoy a wonderful view over the Bunaken National Park from the beach.
The swimming-pool is a pleasant gathering point for après-dive relaxation.
