Celebes Divers has 4 perahu, large traditional wooden boats 12 to 16 m long and powered with 2-3 outboard engines. Together they can carry up 40 divers in total. Each boat is staffed with highly trained crew for full safety and comfort, they will even set up your equipment for you. On the boat you will find drinking water, hot water for tea or coffee, cookies and after the dive some fresh fruits. The dive boats are also equipped with a toilet. The boats will take you to the dive sites comfortably while you enjoy the Indonesian sun on the bow.
No need to mention that there is an oxygen kit and a first aid kit on every boat. All diving staff at Celebes Divers is medically trained and will take care of your safety underwater as well as on the boat. The nearest recompression chamber is at Malalayang hospital in Manado, only 3 kilometers from our dive center. The recompression chamber is operated by an Australian/Indonesian medical staff specialized in diving related injuries. We recommend all our guests to take care of a diving insurance such as DAN (Divers Alert Network). Please read our General Terms and Conditions.
During the dives you are guided in small groups of maximal 4-5 divers for safety reasons and to guarantee that everybody can enjoy observing even the smallest critters. Of course the professional guides give everybody more than enough time and space to film or photograph everything. Of course we will organize the groups according to the experience levels of the divers to ensure that all our divers get the most out of their dives. For experienced divers we have also the possibility to dive in a buddy team without a guide (after agreement with the management).
Our dive center has 10 complete sets of diving equipment for rent and 170 aluminum 12 liter INT tanks so if you have a DIN regulator, please bring an adapter with you. The air is supplied by 3 BAUER and 1 brand new Coltri HP compressor and a brand new COLTRI NITROX MEMBRANE SYSTEM and of course there is always at least 200 bar in your tank. Our compressors are serviced according to the European standards to ensure that the air or Nitrox you breath is as pure as possible.
Nitrox is for FREE for Nitrox certified divers. You are not a Nitrox diver yet? Enroll in the PADI Nitrox Specialty course which we offer for only 95 Euro when you book a 5 day diving package! In our workshop we do all the service on our rental diving equipment to ensure that everything works as it should. If you consider bringing your personal regulator to your local dive shop for service, ask our rates for regulator service first. You will be surprised! If you decide to let us do the servicing you just give us your regulator on arriving in our center and we make sure it is ready before you do your first dive. We might ask you to bring the service kits for your brand because of lack of availability in Indonesia.
